Rachmaninoff once said of Canadian pianist André Mathieu that he was “the only one who can pretend to be my successor.” Dubbed the “Canadian Mozart,” hear Mathieu’s passionate Piano Concerto No. 3 paired with Rachmaninoff’s masterpiece, his Second Symphony.
